Whether a building satisfies the Connecticut Fire Safety Code, the State Building Code or any local requirement is determined by the authority having jurisdiction.

Any report or documentation we produce is provided to the property owner or their representative for their own records and use. We do not file, submit or lodge documentation with any municipal, state or federal agency on a property owner’s behalf. Certifications

Connecticut Fire Escape Painting is an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm and holds OSHA safety certification. These certifications relate to work practices, specifically, working safely on surfaces that may be coated with lead-based paint, and safe working procedures.

They do not make us a lead abatement contractor. We do not perform lead inspections, lead risk assessments, lead testing, lead abatement or clearance testing. Where those services are required, they must be obtained from a lead abatement contractor holding the appropriate certifications for that work.
